To design a limited edition travel retail packaging for the Australian market that elevated and echoed the Jim Beam brand, linking it back to its whiskey heritage. The quantity was relatively small, retailing around $200-300 for 4 bottles.
The challenge was to tell the Jim Beam story within a high trafficking travel retail environment, fighting against numerous other brands to capture consumer interest at a cost effective price point.
A simple fold out design inspired by the fold out motion of retro tool kits. This allows the bottles to be displayed in unison for travel retail purposes but each compartment tells a brief variant, ingredient and provenance story.
The pack is made from heavy duty wrapped board for a premium gifting experience, where the texture of faux leather lines the outside utilising a magnetic, Jim Beam branded belt buckle to fasten the pack together.
A gold signature, branded ribbon premiumises the pack when closed.
Each insert is colour coded to represent the different variants.
